DAZ Studio is software for creating images and animations from 3D models. It is like a virtual stage, with cameras and lights. You buy content such as models, textures and poses to create scenes. DAZ3D has an active user community and you can easily find experienced artists to help you. It also has an extensive store, with many models and supporting items.

The majority of images in Rune: A Tale of Wizards and Kings are renders using the pwToon shader. Rune, Justin and many of the other men are built on the Michael 4 model. Zara and most of the females use the Victoria 4 model.
